Part of the reason that we have to exersize so much is because we like to eat, plain and simple.  What is nice about this neighborhood is the wonderful selections we have for great meals, snacks, desserts and libations.  I hope you find these as pleasureable as we do.

There are three great pizzarias, TIme Market, Brooklyn Pizza Co. and Magpies.  We love the Daisy at Time Market and the Calzones at Brooklyn.  Down by the university, Zacary's or Z's to the locals has a great pizza as well. Well, for Mexican on the avenue, its Poncho's or Martin's.   The Chicken Enchiladas at La Indita are yummy and the soups at Maya Quetzal are fantastico! Bumsteads has great sandwiches, burgers and salads, with great daily lunch specials.  These meals are big enough for two to share. Delectables has wonderful vegetarian fare, as well as the Casbah Tea House. Nam-Son is a little Vietnamese resturant that we enjoy.
